Writers Place

We aim to foster a community by hosting authors to share their work, engage a broad range of audiences in loving literature and writing, and reach the next generation. Our activities are created to target writers, readers, and fans of the written word. We offer workshops, events, youth and adult programming, networking, and support. The Writers Place is not able to provide space for groups or extra readings. It must be shared with other non-profit organizations. By overusing the facilities, we would take up available space. It would be unfair to everyone if all the groups met at one location, regardless of their ability to pay or when they can meet. If we let one group meet ahead of others, the rest would not be pleased with the extra reading. We will advertise all groups meeting at The Writers Place online and list all the open groups and those currently meeting. We will list the location and time of each meeting.
